Tryout #2
Hello everyone, Tryouts continue tonight with another skate that is scheduled from 7:00 to 8:30 on Rink #2.
As we all continue through this process, I am very happy with what I have seen from the players and I look forward to tonight’s skate. These tryouts are not just about skill but also giving the kids the experience. I am trying to give each and every kid the opportunity to make a spot on this team. I know there will be a number of tough decisions that I will have to make this week. As the coach, I would like to encourage all kids to go out and work 100% all the time and compete for their position on this team. This is a new experience for most of the players and for me as the coach. I was originally planning to make the first releases tonight but with this short player experience I will be posting the first releases sometime Tuesday evening.
